Not a big story in a game in Waterloo where 5th ranked Laurier (3-4) was defeated by first ranked Carleton (6-2) 58-53 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 16-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Lindsay Shotbolt (180) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Darcy Hawkins (183) chipped in 14 points during the contest.
