The game in Anjo supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Fujitsu RW (16-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Aishin Wings (7-13). Fujitsu RW smashed Aishin Wings 82-49 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-49. Fujitsu RW dominated on the defensive end, holding Aishin Wings to just 5 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Aishin Wings' 26 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Aishin Wings 35-17 including a 28-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. International power forward Megumi Shinohara (184-91) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and swingman Tika Yamamoto (175-91) supported her with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 13 points by forward Yuka Maeda (173-84) did not help to save the game for Aishin Wings. Power forward Shiyu Sato (178-87) added 11 points for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fujitsu RW moved-up to second place, which they share with Chanson V-M. Aishin Wings at the other side keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Denso Iris. Fujitsu RW will meet league's second-placed Chanson V-M in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aishin Wings will play against Hitachi Cougars (#11) in Hitachinaka and hope to secure a win.
