Important game to mention about took place in Ferentino. Fourteenth ranked Aget Service IM (2-7) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 13th ranked FCM Ferentino (1-7) 88-87 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 1 point. Aget Service IM made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Paul Marigney (192-82, college: St.Mary's, CA) who scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Rodolfo Valenti (198-80) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American-British forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Francesco Guarino (182-79) added 22 points respectively. Four Aget Service IM and five FCM Ferentino players scored in double figures. Aget Service IM moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Upea CdO. FCM Ferentino lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Aget Service IM will face higher ranked C.de Latte BRE (#6) in Brescia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FCM Ferentino will play on the road against Tezenis VE (#9) in Verona.
