A very interesting game took place in Buenos Aires. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Argentino (11-10) to twelfth ranked Boca Juniors (9-11) 71-70 on Monday evening. Argentino was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 15-6 charge of Boca Juniors, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Argentino to just 6 points in fourth quarter. The best player for the winners was American-Puerto Rican center Daniel Santiago (216-76, college: N.Mexico, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. International guard Federico Van Lacke (191-80) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Kavon Lytch (199-87, college: Oklahoma City, agency: Dream Team Management) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and Fernando Funes (192-83) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boca Juniors moved-up to eleventh place. Newly promoted Argentino keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Boca Juniors' next round opponent will be higher ranked Sionista (#9) in Parana and it may be quite challenging game.
