Not a big story in a game in Formosa where 16th ranked La Union (5-18) was defeated by third ranked Lanus (16-6) 72-68. La Union was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 30-18 charge of Lanus, which allowed them to win the game. 27 personal fouls committed by La Union helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American forward William McFarlan (201-76, college: St.Thomas Aquinas, agency: Dream Team Management) who led his team to a victory with 16 points. Power forward Fernando Martina (202-81) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Lanus players scored in double figures. Lanus' coach Silvio Jose Santander allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
