Regular Season Round 15: LF Basket - Uppsala 83-84

Eighth-ranked LF Basket (6-8) made lots of trouble for third ranked Uppsala Basket (11-4) in Lulea on Wednesday. The visitors from Uppsala managed to secure only one-point victory 84-83. However their fans expected much easier game. LF Basket was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 18-14 charge of Uppsala Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by LF Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler) who scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Keith Wright (203-89, college: Harvard) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. LF Basket at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Uppsala Basket is looking forward to face Sodertalje Kings (#5) at home in the next round. LF Basket will play against Eco Orebro and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
