The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Grodno: Olimpia GrGAU (#1) and Victoria-UOR (#6). Olimpia GrGAU (6-0) smashed visiting Victoria-UOR (2-6) by 46 points 101-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Victoria-UOR. The game without a history. Olimpia GrGAU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Olimpia GrGAU forced 23 Victoria-UOR turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international guard Nadzeya Drozd (174-83) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals. International Maryia Filonchyk (187-92) contributed with 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Olimpia GrGAU players scored in double figures. Forward Viyaleta Kiuliak (181-96) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Hanna Tsarevich (178-95) added 11 points in the effort for Victoria-UOR. Victoria-UOR's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Olimpia GrGAU have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Victoria-UOR at the other side keeps the sixth place with six games lost. Olimpia GrGAU will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Victoria-UOR will play at home against Gorizont (#3) in Minsk and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
