An interesting game for Sundsvall Dragons (14-2) which hosted in Sundsvall 3rd ranked Boras Basket (11-5). First ranked Sundsvall Dragons had an easy win 127-104. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boras Basket. Boras Basket was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Sundsvall Dragons dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Boras Basket's 64 and had 21 for 30 from the free-throw line, while Boras Basket only scored four points from the stripe. Sundsvall Dragons looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Boras Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Michael Cuffee (195-83, college: Middle Tenn.St.) contributed with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) replied with 40 points (!!!) and 7 assists and his fellow American import forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) added 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) in the effort for Boras Basket. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sundsvall Dragons have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-2 record. Boras Basket at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Sundsvall Dragons will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boras Basket will play at home against Norrkoping Dolphins in Norrkoping and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
