The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Energy Invest as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Energy Invest edged 3rd ranked Armia in Rustavi 79-77. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 26-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Energy Invest forced 19 Armia turnovers. They share the position with Kutaisi. Armia will play next round against Dinamo Tbilisi trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi - Dinamo Tbilisi. Energy Invest will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Olimpi in Tbilisi.
