Regular Season Round 16: Eco Orebro - LF Basket 84-102
Date: December 7, 2012
Rather expected game when 11th ranked Eco Orebro (3-13) lost at home to eighth ranked LF Basket (7-8) 102-84 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by LF Basket. Eco Orebro managed to win fourth quarter 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. LF Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Eco Orebro's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Esian Henderson (204-86, college: Central Mo.) who scored that evening 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Christopher Ryan (196-90) supported him with 26 points. LF Basket's coach Charles Barton used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by Croatian forward Fran Urli (203-89, college: Hawaii-Pacific, agency: Dynamics Global Management) did not help to save the game for Eco Orebro. American-Bosnian point guard Terell Castle (182-72, college: Nicholls St., agency: Court Side) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Four LF Basket and five Eco Orebro players scored in double figures. LF Basket maintains eighth position with 7-8 record. Eco Orebro lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Nassjo. LF Basket will meet at home White Eagles (#10) in the next round. Eco Orebro will play against Sodertalje Kings and hope to secure a win.
