There was no surprise when 9th ranked Alba Chorzow (3-7) was crushed on the road by first ranked Pogon Prudnik (8-1) 93-73 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 52-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Pogon Prudnik dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Alba Chorzow's 38 and made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Pogon Prudnik forced 25 Alba Chorzow turnovers. Alba Chorzow was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
