The game in Stadrbredimus was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Etzella (9-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Musel Pikes (5-7). Etzella managed to secure a 4-point victory 75-71. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-15. But Musel Pikes won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward William Arre (199-86, college: Lock Haven) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Anthony Simpson (203-87, college: Kent St.) who added 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Trenton Wurtz (203-83, college: Indiana St.) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Brandon Gary (202-83, college: Hutchinson CC) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Five Musel Pikes players scored in double figures. Etzella have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Amicale. Musel Pikes at the other side dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Residence and Soleuvre. Etzella will play against Contern (#4) in Luxembourg in the next round. Musel Pikes will play on the road against Black Star in Mersch and hopes to get back on the winning track.
