The game in Barcelona was also quite interesting. Second ranked Real Canoe (6-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Segle XXI (3-5). Real Canoe managed to secure a 9-point victory 58-49 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Segle XXI won third quarter 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Real Canoe dominated on the defensive end, holding Segle XXI to just 5 points in second quarter. They also forced 21 Segle XXI turnovers. Center Monica Garrido (185-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Daira Varas (193-89) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Real Canoe's coach Pablo Roldan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Angela Salvadores (175-97) replied with 19 points and 5 steals and Belen Arrojo (-95) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Segle XXI. Real Canoe keeps a position of Group B leader, which they share with Pais Vasco and Alcobendas. Segle XXI lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with five games lost.
