A very interesting game took place in Aichi. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Toyota A. (16-6) to ninth ranked Toyota B SR (7-15) 63-62 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Toyota A.. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Toyota A. won third quarter 14-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Mao Okada (166-88) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Center Mori Binge (180-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and international guard Maya Kawahara (167-87) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Toyota A.Newly promoted Toyota B SR maintains ninth place with 7-15 record. Toyota A. at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost.
