Not a big story in a game in Pozoan where 16th ranked AZS PP (1-12) was rolled over by third ranked Stal Ostrow (9-4) 104-72. The game without a history. Stal Ostrow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to AZS PP's 36. They outrebounded AZS PP 50-26 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Stal Ostrow players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by AZS PP helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Adam Kaczmarzyk (198-88) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Power forward Wojciech Zurawski (199-76) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Stal Ostrow players scored in double figures. Center Adam Metelski (208-83, college: Cal-Irvine) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Pawel Stankiewicz (195-82) added 22 points and 4 steals in the effort for AZS PP. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Stal Ostrow maintains third place with 9-4 record having just three points less than leader Slask Wroclaw, which they share with MKS DG. AZS PP lost their sixth game in a row. AZS PP at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Stal Ostrow's next round opponent will be P.Cukier SIDEn (#11) in Torun and are hoping to win another game. AZS PP will play on the road against WIKANA Start (#12) in Lublin.
