There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Cadi ICG S. (3-5) beat 7th ranked Navarra Pamplona (3-5) in Seu D'urgell 71-66. Navarra Pamplona was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 27-12 third quarter run of Cadi ICG S.. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Navarra Pamplona's 24. Senegalese power forward Astou Traore (182-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas) stepped up and scored 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and American swingman Aja Parham (183-84, college: Boston Coll.) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Cadi ICG S.'s coach Andreu Bou allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Latvian power forward Aija Putnina (191-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) with 24 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Maria Asurmendi (168-86) scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Navarra Pamplona players scored in double figures. Cadi ICG S. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Navarra Pamplona.
