A1 top team - Lupa Promotion (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked ZKK Agram (0-9) in Zagreb 86-57. The game was mostly controlled by Lupa Promotion. ZKK Agram was better in second period 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lupa Promotion dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to ZKK Agram's 18. Lupa Promotion forced 21 ZKK Agram turnovers and outrebounded them 50-33 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international center Sena Pavetic (197-86) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and the former international center Gordana Bedalov (191-84, college: FIU, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 11 points and 14 rebounds. Four Lupa Promotion players scored in double figures. Lupa Promotion's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Iva Meznaric (186-86) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Dana Saric (174-95) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Lupa Promotion. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. ZKK Agram lost their ninth game in a row. They still closes the standings with nine games lost. Lupa Promotion will play against Jolly (#3) in Sibenik in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
