We should not miss a home victory of eighth ranked Takamatsu FA (5-10) over 5th ranked Oita Heat Devils (9-8) 81-65. They outrebounded Oita Heat Devils 45-34 including 36 on the defensive glass. Takamatsu FA brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: I.D.S. Law) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Takamatsu FA's coach Kenzo Maeda allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV, agency: Top Notch Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and naturalized Brazilian forward Kazuya Hatano (192-82) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively.
