Rather predictable result in Jelenia Gora where sixth ranked Sudety (5-4) beat 10th ranked Nysa Klodzko (1-8) 70-62 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 38-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Sudety outrebounded Nysa Klodzko 35-20 including a 26-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Jakub Czech (203-84, agency: Promotex) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Rafal Niesobski (189-82) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Guard Bartlomiej Jozefowicz (192-80) produced 15 points and 4 steals and point guard Piotr Magdziarz (187-90) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Four Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. Nysa Klodzko's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Sudety maintains sixth position in Group B with 5-4 record. Nysa Klodzko lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with eight games lost. Sudety will face Mickiewicz (#8) in Katowice in the next round. Nysa Klodzko will play at home against Wschowa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
