Regular Season Round 11: Gescrap BB - Cajasol 76-79

The most exciting game of round 11 in the ACB took place in Bilbao. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-ranked Gescrap BB (8-3) to seventeenth ranked Cajasol (2-9) 79-76 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gescrap BB. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 28-23 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Cajasol had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Czech point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91) who scored 18 points. Serbian forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Alex Mumbru (202-79) produced 24 points and Greek swingman Kostas Vasiliadis (200-84, agency: FCM) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cajasol moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Mad-Croc. Gescrap BB at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Cajasol is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Lagun Aro GBC (#18) in San Sebastian in the next round. Gescrap BB will play on the road against Caja Laboral (#7) in Vitoria and is hoping to win this game.
