Regular Season Round 11: Boras II - Malbas 82-76

The game between second ranked Malbas (8-3) and fifth ranked Boras II (7-3) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Malbas were defeated by Boras II in a tough game in Boras 76-82. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Malbas. The hosts trailed by 12 points at the halftime before their 26-7 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Boras II dominated on the defensive end, holding Malbas to just 7 points in third quarter. They also forced 21 Malbas turnovers. Boras II looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Malbas' players. Forward Dmytro Purdik (192-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Hajzer Ismaili (201-94) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Five Boras II players scored in double figures. Boras II's coach Magnus Jason used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Jacob Magnusson (184-94) answered with 17 points and 5 assists and guard Kristoffer Gafor (194-92) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Malbas. Boras II moved-up to third place in South. Malbas at the other side keep the second position with three games lost.
