Everything could happen in Madrid at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked CB Canarias and 15th ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada had identical 2-8 record. But Baloncesto Fuenlabrada was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Tenerife 73-65. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-11. But Baloncesto Fuenlabrada won second period 23-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CB Canarias' next round opponent will be higher ranked Blancos de Rueda (#11) in Valladolid and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
