The game in Zadar was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Tresnjevka (4-5) played at the court of sixth ranked KK Zadar (5-4). KK Zadar defeated Tresnjevka 70-58 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tresnjevka. The game was mostly controlled by KK Zadar. Tresnjevka managed to win third quarter 13-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Zadar forced 21 Tresnjevka turnovers. Forward Davorka Balic (188-88) nailed 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and forward Zana Cvjetkovic (175-90) accounted for 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four KK Zadar players scored in double figures. Guard Marijana Mamic (175-93) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Anja Skara (184-91) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Tresnjevka in the defeat. KK Zadar moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Tresnjevka dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Split. KK Zadar will meet Studenac Omis (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tresnjevka will play against Ragusa (#10) in Dubrovnik and hope to secure a win.
