Ninth ranked Njardvik won an overtime thriller edging 6th ranked Keflavik by one point 92-91 on Thursday night. The game took place in Keflavik. But the guests from Njardvik were better at the end. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game in overtime by 1 point. Njardvik forced 19 Keflavik turnovers. Keflavik was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Nigel Moore (195-81, college: Alabama A&M) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Marcus Van (201-85, college: Cent.Michigan) chipped in 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest.
