Very expected game when 12th ranked Nassjo (3-14) lost at home to seventh ranked 08 Stockholm (9-7) 94-79 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by 08 Stockholm. Nassjo managed to win fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international guard Rudy Mbemba (184-87) nailed 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Isiah Brown (203-89, college: E.Tenn.St.) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four 08 Stockholm players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Tut Ruach (188-85) came up with 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Nassjo in the defeat. Nassjo's coach Stefan Timbus let to play ten players saving starting five for next games. 08 Stockholm maintains seventh place with 9-7 record. Newly promoted Nassjo stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. They share it with Eco Orebro. 08 Stockholm will meet higher ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nassjo will play against the league's second-placed Uppsala Basket (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
