Undefeated leader Grodno-93 delivered the eleventh consecutive win on Friday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Svisloch (2-9) 107-49 in Osipovichi. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Svisloch's 24. Grodno-93 forced 27 Svisloch turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Artem Malkov (185-88) who scored 21 points and 4 steals. The former international center Yury Mishukov (205-85) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Pavel Shuleyko (200-88) who recorded 13 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Maksim Shustau (188-86) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively. Grodno-93 (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Svisloch at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Grodno-93 are looking forward to face Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Svisloch will play on the road against Impuls BGUIR in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
