The game between second ranked Amicale (9-4) and seventh ranked Residence (6-7) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Amicale was defeated by Residence in Bereldange 85-74. It was a great shooting night for Residence especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. American power forward Dustin Scott (203-85, college: Charleston) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Marcus Kennedy (193-84, college: Montevallo, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 25 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Reggie Golson (201-81, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Christian Schartz (185-86) scored 11 points. Residence moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Amicale at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Residence is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Black Star (#10) in Mersch in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Amicale will play at home against T71 (#7) in Dudelange and is hoping to win this game.
