There was a small surprise in Goteborg where tenth ranked Hogsbo (5-7) won against 7th ranked Hoganas (6-8) 84-74 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-74. Hogsbo outrebounded Hoganas 47-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Markus Lenngren (196-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Max Johansson (-92) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian center Martynas Kuksta (203-89) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Evaldas Juozapaitis (189-84) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Hogsbo and four Hoganas players scored in double figures. Hogsbo moved-up to ninth place in South. Hoganas lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. Hogsbo will face Talje Knights (#10) on the road in the next round.
