Very expected game when 15th ranked UMKS Kielce (3-11) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Sokol Lancut (8-6) 75-64 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-64. Sokol Lancut outrebounded UMKS Kielce 43-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Center Maciej Klima (205-82) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Damian Pieloch (195-89) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Swingman Marcin Wrobel (200-87) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and forward Rafal Krol (198-87) scored 14 points. UMKS Kielce's coach Michal Spychala rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sokol Lancut maintains sixth position with 8-6 record. UMKS Kielce lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth place with 11 games lost. Sokol Lancut will meet league's second-placed AZS Kutno on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
