Regular Season Round 10: La Palma - Lan Mobel ISB 75-72

Bottom-ranked La Palma managed to get a second victory. This time they edged fourth-ranked Lan Mobel ISB 75-72. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lan Mobel ISB won fourth quarter 16-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Anaterve Cruz (196-86) notched 16 points to lead the effort and power forward Samuel Dominguez (204-91) supported him with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds by power forward Antonio Pantin (203-88) did not help to save the game for Lan Mobel ISB. Guard Joseba Ibargutxi (190-82) added 9 points and 8 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. La Palma (2-7) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Castello. Lan Mobel ISB at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Prat Juventud and Avila. La Palma will play against Castello (#10) in Castellon in the next round. Lan Mobel ISB will play at home against Aurteneche M. (#7) in Vitoria-Gasteiz and hopes to get back on the winning track.
