Regular Season Round 11: Tur Bielsk Pdl. - Novum Lublin 91-81

Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Novum Lublin (3-6) lost to third ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (6-3) in Bielsk Podlaski 81-91 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-81. Tur Bielsk Pdl. outrebounded Novum Lublin 40-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Center Miroslaw Wysocki (213-87) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Kamil Zakrzewski (193-77) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Sergiusz Prazmo (205-87) answered with 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and point guard Michael Gospodarek (186-91) added 24 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Novum Lublin. Tur Bielsk Pdl. maintains third place in Group C with 6-3 record having four points less than leader Pogon Prudnik. Loser Novum Lublin dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will face league's second-placed PWiK Piaseczno at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Novum Lublin will play against Wisla AWF Kr. (#10) in Krakow.
