Very expected game in Lugo where 8th ranked Universidad de Valladolid (3-5) was crushed by fourth ranked Maquinaria Ensino (5-3) 74-43 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Maquinaria Ensino. Universidad de Valladolid was better in second period 12-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maquinaria Ensino dominated on the defensive end, holding Universidad de Valladolid to just 5 points in first quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Universidad de Valladolid's 18.
