Very important is a road loss of third ranked ALM Evreux (10-4) against eleventh ranked JL Bourg (7-7) on Saturday night. Visiting ALM Evreux was defeated by JL Bourg in a tough game in Bourg 80-88. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 33-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. JL Bourg dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to ALM Evreux's 36. JL Bourg forced 20 ALM Evreux turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Gambian forward Moses Sonko (197-83, college: Co.Carolina, agency: Two Points) who scored 20 points. American swingman L.D. Williams (193-88, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Clevin Hannah (180-87, college: Wichita St., agency: Court Side) produced 22 points and 6 assists and center Garry Florimont (203-87) added 20 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) respectively for the guests. Four JL Bourg and five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. JL Bourg moved-up to eighth place, which they share with St Quentin and Fos Ouest. Loser ALM Evreux dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Antibes and Le Portel. JL Bourg will meet league's second-placed Olympique Antibes on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. ALM Evreux will play against Denain Voltaire and hope to secure a win.
