The game in Shanghai was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Qujing Yunnan (7-8) played at the court of eighth ranked Shanghai Octopus (8-7). Shanghai Octopus did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 83-66 on Saturday. Shanghai Octopus dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Qujing Yunnan's 42. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Camille Little (188-85, college: N.Carolina) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. point guard Xiufeng Shi (178-87) accounted for 25 points and 4 assists for the winning side. American center Lindsay Taylor (203-81, college: UCSB) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and forward Yang Jia (191-87) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Qujing Yunnan in the defeat. Shanghai Octopus moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Liaoning. Loser Qujing Yunnan dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Beijing. Shanghai Octopus will meet Liaoning Hengye (#6) in the next round. Qujing Yunnan will play against the league's leader Shanxi in Taiyuan and hope to secure a win.
