WNBL top team - Bendigo Spirit (12-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Logan Thunder (4-9) in Loganholme 69-61. Logan Thunder was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 24-11 charge of Bendigo Spirit, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Logan Thunder 51-35 including a 24-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Gabrielle Richards (191-84, college: Oregon) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. American forward Kelsey Griffin (188-87, college: Nebraska) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds.
