No shocking result in a game when second ranked Lucca (8-1) beat at home 6th ranked Orvieto (4-4) 52-44 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Lucca forced 23 Orvieto turnovers. It was a very good performance for the former international point guard Francesca Dotto (170-93) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 4 assists. Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
