1st Division top team - Porvoon Tarmo (11-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Saynatsalon Riento (4-8) in Jyvaskyla 85-79. Saynatsalon Riento was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 27-17 third quarter run of Porvoon Tarmo. Porvoon Tarmo maintains first position in Division with 11-2 record. Saynatsalon Riento at the other side keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Porvoon Tarmo's next round opponent will be Tapiolan Honka (#5) on the road. Saynatsalon Riento will play against Pyrinto II in Tampere and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
