An interesting game for KaU Koris (11-5) which hosted in Karkkila second-ranked Kerava Energia Team (9-5). First ranked KaU Koris had an easy win 92-66. KaU Koris had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. Forward Sami Syrjala (197-81) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and guard Kimmo Tolvanen (193-77) supported him with 21 points. Five KaU Koris players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by naturalized American guard La Trice Little (187-79, college: Mercy) did not help to save the game for Kerava Energia Team. Cameroonian forward Arsene Towa (191-81) added 11 points and 13 rebounds for the guests. Kerava Energia Team's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted KaU Koris maintains first position in Division with 11-5 record. Kerava Energia Team at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the third place with five games lost. KaU Koris will meet at home Espoo Basket (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kerava Energia Team will play against the league's second-placed Jarvenpaa (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
