No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Leeuwarden (8-7) beat on the road 9th ranked Amsterdam (1-14) 84-80. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 27-21 run, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Jerrell Williams (203-88, college: La Salle) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Robert Holcomb Faye (185-84, college: Radford) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 assists. Holcomb Faye is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international guard Aaron Roye (185-88) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Jeremy Ormskerk (190-82, agency: Court Side) added 21 points respectively for lost side. Five Leeuwarden and four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. Amsterdam's coach Tyronne Marioneaux tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
