The game in Oita supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (13-7) played at the court of 6th ranked Oita Heat Devils (9-11). Fukuoka Rizing smashed Oita Heat Devils 104-59 on Sunday. The game without a history. Fukuoka Rizing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Oita Heat Devils' 34. They outrebounded Oita Heat Devils 58-33 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fukuoka Rizing looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Top Notch Sports) who had a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Trinidad and Tobago power forward Julius Ashby (205-82, college: Colorado) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Five Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. Coach Atsushi Kanazawa's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Taishiro Shimizu (183-81) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Indre Kersulyte (171-89) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Fukuoka Rizing have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Shimane SM and Shinshu BW. Oita Heat Devils lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will meet Miyazaki Shining Suns (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Oita Heat Devils will play against Shimane Magic and hope to secure a win.
