Regular Season Round 13: Toulouse - Landes 60-63

The biggest surprise of round 13 in LFB was guest Basket Landes' (8-5) road victory over Toulouse (#6) 63-60 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 39-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Point guard Olivia Epoupa (165-94) fired 28 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American center Jennifer Humphrey (191-84, college: Kentucky, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Demetress Adams (193-87, college: S.Carolina) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Inesa Visgaudaite (172-91) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Basket Landes moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lyon. Toulouse lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Nantes. Basket Landes is looking forward to face Tarbes (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Toulouse will play against the league's leader Lattes Montpellier and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
