The game between Top Four teams took place in Dandong. Third ranked host Shenyang Golden Lions (11-5) defeated one of their biggest challengers Jiangsu Phoenix (9-7) 91-82. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Jiangsu Phoenix. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 46-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Shenyang Golden Lions made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward LiJie Miao (178-81) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 assists and the former international center Dan Liu (194-87) who added 18 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Krystal Thomas (195-89, college: Duke) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and international guard ShanShan Li (177-87) scored 18 points. Four Jiangsu Phoenix players scored in double figures. Shenyang Golden Lions have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-5 record having just two points less than leader Shanxi. Jiangsu Phoenix at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Liaoning. Shenyang Golden Lions are looking forward to face Shanghai Octopus (#7) at home in the next round. Jiangsu Phoenix will play against Heilongjiang Chenneng in Harbin and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
