Regular Season Round 15: MOSiR Krosno - Slask Wroclaw 62-68

Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked MOSiR Krosno (9-6) lost at home to first ranked Slask Wroclaw (14-1) 68-62 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But MOSiR Krosno won third quarter 16-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded MOSiR Krosno 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Slask Wroclaw shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. It was a good game for guard Adrian Mroczek-Truskowski (195-85) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. Forward Lukasz Diduszko (197-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Marcin Salamonik (202-83) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Andrzej Misiewicz (201-84, college: Daytona Beach CC) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for MOSiR Krosno. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Slask Wroclaw have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-1 record. MOSiR Krosno at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Slask Wroclaw will face Spojnia (#10) in Stargard in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MOSiR Krosno will play at home against Stal Ostrow (#3) in Ostrow Wlkp. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
