Everything went according to plan in Parana where tenth ranked Sionista (12-15) won against bottom-ranked La Union (6-20) 72-64 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 24-6 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Sionista dominated on the defensive end, holding La Union to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Panamanian power forward Jose Lloreda (203-80, college: LSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners.
