Rather predictable result when third ranked Adelaide Lightning (11-4) defeated at home 5th ranked Bulleen Boomers (7-9) 69-59. Bulleen Boomers were ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 25-5 third quarter run of Adelaide Lightning. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Bulleen Boomers to just 5 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bulleen Boomers' 26. Adelaide Lightning forced 21 Bulleen Boomers turnovers.
