Regular Season Round 11: STU Tbilisi - Dinamo Tbilisi 71-78

Bottom-ranked STU is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to sixth ranked Dinamo Tbilisi (6-4) 78-71. The guests were already 12 points ahead at halftime and as many as 14 after three quarters before a 25-18 last quarter charge of STU cut the lead to 78-71 at the end of the game. STU was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Flynn Clayman (206-88, college: Cumberlands) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import point guard Lamar Karim (178-83, college: So.Poly State, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 25 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Forward Zurab Korkotadze (194-83) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Giorgi Kvetenadze (201-90) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dinamo Tbilisi moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kutaisi. STU at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
