Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Kutaisi (6-4) and Sokhumi (3-7), which took place in Tbilisi. Higher ranked Kutaisi lost to ninth ranked Sokhumi in a road game 86-90. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-18. But Kutaisi won second period 27-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
