The game in Nagoya supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Panasonic Trians (14-10) played at the court of 6th ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins (8-16). Panasonic Trians smashed Mitsubishi Dolphins 94-72 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Panasonic Trians. Mitsubishi Dolphins was better in third quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mitsubishi Dolphins were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was international swingman Kosuke Kanamaru (193-89) who scored 21 points. American power forward Jameel Watkins (211-77, college: Georgetown) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Panasonic Trians players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Ron Hale (203-77, college: Florida St.) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and power forward Jun Uzawa (197-81) added 8 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Panasonic Trians have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-10 record having six points less than leader Aishin SH, which they share with Hitachi SR. Loser Mitsubishi Dolphins keep the sixth place with 16 games lost. Panasonic Trians will face league's leader Aishin Sea Horses in Kariya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mitsubishi Dolphins will play on the road against Tochigi Brex (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
