Very predictable result in Reggio Calabria where fifth ranked Ancona (7-5) defeated 10th ranked Calabria (3-9) 58-54 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 19-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Ancona dominated on the defensive end, holding Calabria to just 6 points in first quarter. Forward Monique Ngo Ndjock (187-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and guard Carola Sordi (179-82) chipped in 15 points.
