Regular Season Round 12: Paris-Levallois - Poitiers 90-65

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Poitiers (5-7) was crushed on the road by second ranked Paris-Levallois (8-4) 90-65. The game without a history. Paris-Levallois led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Poitiers' players. The winners were led by Senegalese forward Maleye N'Doye (203-80, college: Furman) who scored that evening 18 points and American forward Sean May (206-84, college: N.Carolina) supported him with 18 points. Paris-Levallois' coach Christophe Denis felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds by American forward Ahmad Nivins (206-87, college: St.Joseph's) did not help to save the game for Poitiers. American-Italian guard Anthony Dobbins (194-81, college: Richmond) added 7 points and 8 rebounds. Paris-Levallois have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gravelines and Chalon. Poitiers at the other side dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. Paris-Levallois' next round opponent will be Sluc Nancy (#10) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Poitiers will play against JDA Dijon.
